How Abstract Art Changed My Life

When I was 10, my mom took out her art materials and started to paint. I had no idea that I would love art. I just       started to paint along with her. Art was a safe place for me, and I created representational art for most of my life,       until I found I had breast cancer. I knew that my healing needed more than drugs or surgery. I dared to try                 painting abstractly so that I could access my feelings related to the cancer. In this video, I share how I
developed a trust in my intuition, and how abstract, and a bit of representational art, helped me to heal from             cancer.    - Julie Cohn
